		<description>Hmmm... the only food I&#039;ve eaten that leaves that nasty film on your teeth is spinach.  I&#039;ve always wondered if there were any other foods that did this.  I&#039;ll have to try a persimmon to see if it happens to me too.  Haven&#039;t had one since I was a kid I can&#039;t remember if it did.

For spinach I thought it was the iron that did it but apparently it is the oxalates.  I checked and persimmons don&#039;t have either.  They do have tannins though.  I hope that&#039;s not what&#039;s affecting your teeth because eating too much will cause damage (and I&#039;m sure you&#039;re not about to give up &quot;ambrosia&quot; that easily).</description>
