I have been totally into my new novel lately. I’ve been at this whole noveling thing long enough now to know that these periods come and go. The best thing to do when the muse is in the saddle is to let her do her thing: get as much work down as possible while the getting is good.
My blog writing has been a bit slow, as a result. 87% of my brain is full of plot, subplot, character, theme. This novel-wave will pass, however. Things will get tough again. I’ll fall into pits of despair and disconnection, certain that I’m not cut out for this novel writing stuff, yada yada. That seems to be when I blog the most! Can’t stop the signal.
So keep checking in, and sorry if there isn’t quite as much new stuff at the moment. This too shall pass.

"Dusi's Wings" April, 2003. . . .
"One thing fantasy can do for us is to give shape to the mysterious in the world; another is to make emotional yearning concrete. The early sections of "Dusi's Wings" do just that...there was a strong grasping towards the spiritual in fantasy here that was very promising, and I look forward to reading more by Lassiter." --review, Tangent Online.twitterage

Hey, can you reach Codex? As of this evening, it seems to no longer exist from where I’m sitting.
