have I fixed my blog yet, for goodness sakes????
A lot of you have asked me this question. The short answer is, um, no.
So how am I posting this? Well, the problem is, as I have mentioned, intermittent. Sometimes I can sneak something in. I also have the laughable work-around of either 1) going somewhere else, like Starbucks, or my office, where the network allows me to post with abandon, or 2) unplug the time capsule and plug in the old router, click publish, and then switch back. Why switch back? I really love getting internet out in the yard, or on the bed, or on the sofa, and the back-up thing, for a novelist, is like having that million dollar insurance policy on my husband when he’s very late, and hasn’t called, and instead of picturing him in a ditch, I think about how I’m going to spend all that money. Ahem.
But I’m still working on getting it fixed. I’m hopeful. One day, the gods will smile upon me, I’ll post that it is all fixed, and everything will be shiny. Let us all take a moment to ponder such a glorious vision together.
So say we all.

"Dusi's Wings" April, 2003. . . .
"One thing fantasy can do for us is to give shape to the mysterious in the world; another is to make emotional yearning concrete. The early sections of "Dusi's Wings" do just that...there was a strong grasping towards the spiritual in fantasy here that was very promising, and I look forward to reading more by Lassiter." --review, Tangent Online.tags
